Alliance man dies after hitting tire spikes during chase

A 46-year-old Alliance man, whom authorities say led police in Tuscarawas County on a high-speed chase, died Sunday night after crashing a pickup on Cleveland Avenue SE in southern Stark County.

Lake Township man dies in Akron traffic accident

A elderly Uniontown area man was killed Tuesday night in Akron when he drove over an embankment, through a guardrail, onto Interstate 77 and into traffic.
Jim Youngson, 70, of Lake Township, was killed in the 6:40 p.m. crash, said Gary Guenther, chief investigator for the Summit County Medical Examiner’s Office.

Two drunken drivers from Stark County collided just a half mile north of the county line late Thursday night, according to Ohio Highway Patrol troopers.

LAKE TWP. —The pilot of a single-engine airplane died when he crashed Friday evening, narrowly missing a vacant house on Charolais Street NW in a residential neighborhood.
