Lions Clubs provide service to student program

The Marshall Lions Club and Lions of Michigan District 11 B1 recently served the community by donating a combined $3250 Principal David Turner of the Marshall Middle School for its Lion Quest program.

Quest is a school-based, comprehensive, positive youth development and prevention program that unites the home, school and community to cultivate capable and healthy young people of strong character through life skills, character education, social and emotional learning, civic values, drug prevention and service-learning education.

Lions clubs are a group of men and women who identify needs within the community and work together to fulfill those needs. Lions Clubs International is the world’s largest service club organization with nearly 1.35 million members in approximately 45,000 clubs in 205 countries and geographical areas around the world. Since 1917, Lions clubs have aided the blind and visually impaired and made a strong commitment to community service and serving youth throughout the world.
